School Holiday Programs

SVRS offers holiday programs designed for children ages 5-13 of all riding abilities.​​ Our programs offer students a unique opportunity to practice horse handling, learn theory, and experience a minimum of 3 hours of riding time per day. 

Our Holiday programs follow usual New Zealand term dates.

9am - 3pm daily, excluding public holidays. 

Please be aware that we do have riding helmets and boots the children will be able to borrow however they will need to be provided with a packed lunch, long pants, water bottle and suitable clothing for the current season. 

Looking for something a little extra? SVRS offer students a hands on Farm Experience. They will have the opportunity to assist with catching, feeding, rugging and putting the horses away for the night. ​The Farm Experience runs in both the morning and the evening at the following times (this varies depending on season)​.

AM Session: 8am-9am

PM Session: 3pm-5pm
