From 3 years up your child can have their first pony ride on the lead within the safety of our grounds.

Prices start from $35 and depend on availability.

Riders assist with the grooming and preparing the horse to ride. This activity lasts approximately 30 minutes so the child gains confidence by learning about the horse before getting on their back. Kids will then ride in the arena for 30 minutes.

Learning in a small group is fun and enables students to enhance learning by watching others.

Riders are grouped by ability. In the beginners lessons, you will learn how to make the horse move forward, steering skills and halting. A strong emphasis is placed on rider position and balance. These lessons include ridden games and fun mounted activities to keep it interesting.

In the intermediate class, riders are ready to begin cantering and jumping, building on the basic riding skills. The instructor will be encouraging more consistency in both the rider and the way the horse goes as students become more accomplished.

In our advanced lessons we focus on more serious dressage and jumping instruction. In the advanced class there is also an emphasis teaching the rider how to educating the horse.

For all group lessons riders are welcome to bring their own horse or pony.

From 5 years up, kids can enjoy learning in a fun, safe environment. These sessions cover; pony care, riding lessons in and out of the arena, mounted and unmounted learning games while gaining confidence and experience.

Our after school sessions run from 3.30 to 5.30pm on weekdays. These sessions include horse mastership (grooming, saddling etc) and a one hour riding lesson. Children can attend one or more afternoons per week. Children will groom and saddle up their own pony under tuition, giving them the full experience of owning a pony.

Lessons will be grouped with students at a similar level.

$40 per session charged on a term basis but payable weekly. One missed lesson per term may be made up free of charge in the term they fall in if sufficient notice is given.

Your instructor will tailor the lesson to suit your needs whether you are a beginner and need to start from scratch or you are advanced and are in training for a competition.
